Steve Nash, an LA Lakers star, doesn’t think it’s a good idea
to pay child support for his 3 kids to his ex, Alejandra Nash.
Reason being? He says if he does, he thinks his ex-wife will spoil the kids with limos and other luxuries.
His ex currently resides in Arizona, where a judge handled their divorce and ruled she wasn’t entitled to child support. She’s appealing the ruling and going after more money.
Nash had convinced the divorce judge that Alejandra doesn’t need child support because he paid her $5 million in the divorce settlement. On top of that, she already makes over $30k/month.
Alejandra argues that Steve makes a million more than her every month, so it is unfair he’s not forced to use some of it to benefit their kids. Steve says he’s paying plenty, since he covers 90% of of medical, school and extracurricular activities as well as 82% of the nanny’s $2k/month salary.
Claiming that Alejandra is an excessive spender, Steve claims if he pays more then the kids will be spoiled with crazy, unnecessary luxuries.
