Megan was born and raised in New England. She graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice (concentration on juvenile justice) and a minor in History. She earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. Megan is an Associate Attorney in the Firm’s San Diego office where she focuses on divorce, child custody, support, domestic violence, and various other family law proceedings. Megan understands that her clients are going through likely the worst period of their lives, and she is a very powerful advocate in the courtroom.

Prior to attending law school, Megan volunteered as a mentor at the Rhode Island Training School, mentoring juveniles who are detained and/or sentenced to the facility by court order. Through this experience, she gained an interest in working with children, focusing on their best interests. During law school, Megan volunteered at a few different pro bono clinics that were focused on assisting lower income individuals with access to the court system. Her favorite experience in law school was interning for one year at the Office of the Family Law Facilitator, assisting self-represented litigants with drafting motions and navigating the court process. She has also worked at various large family law firms within San Diego.

In her free time, Megan likes to spend time with her family, particularly her two dogs, Max and Dug. She is currently learning to speak Irish. She also enjoys watercolor painting and playing piano.
