Stephen V. Smith

Stephen V. Smith earned his law degree in 2002 from California Western School of Law where he was awarded an Academic Achievement Scholarship. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Smith has extensive legal experience as a practicing family law attorney and became a volunteer at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program's Domestic Violence Clinic in 2009.

Mr. Smith is a veteran of the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1992 after a tour in Desert Storm where he was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon after his ship was struck by a floating mine. Mr. Smith enjoys living near the beach in San Diego with his wife and children.
